The Rev. Ricky McCarl

Father Ricky has served as Vicar of Good Shepherd since January of 2020.

He was ordained to the Diaconate on June 3rd, 2016 and the Priesthood on

May 27th, 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Lancaster Bible College and a Master of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary, with additional studies at the Reformed Episcopal Seminary. In addition to his

duties at Good Shepherd, Father Ricky also serves as a Hospice Chaplain

in the Harrisburg area and works part time as a mortuary assistant at a

funeral home in York. He and his wife, Lynette, reside in Hanover, Pa with

Bill Boniface, Senior Warden


Good Shepherd’s Senior Warden, Bill Boniface, retired from a 30-year career as a Navy pilot in 2002. From 2002-2007 he served as Senior Warden and an active church volunteer in Episcopal churches in southern Maryland and northern Virginia and spearheaded an informational ministry on behalf of the Atlanta-based American Anglican Council. After moving in 2007 to Hershey, Pennsylvania, he and his wife, Susan, spent five years raising teenage boys from socially disadvantaged backgrounds as full-time houseparents at the Milton Hershey School. He joined the Good Shepherd Anglican Mission and the Anglican Church in North America in 2009. Today he is retired and spends most of his time supporting the U.S. Naval Academy’s Parachute Team when not working on church matters. He and Susan have four married children and ten grandchildren.
